About Azteca Media

What is Azteca Media?

Azteca Media LLC is a digital marketing agency based at 915 Highland Pointe Dr in Roseville, California. It is a verified Google Partner and provides SEO, Google Ads management, web design and development, video production, social media marketing and brand identity services to small and mid-sized businesses across the United States.

Where is Azteca Media located?

Azteca Media is at 915 Highland Pointe Dr, Roseville, CA 95678, open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific. The team can be reached at (415) 569-7484 or info@aztecamedia.com.

What does it mean that Azteca Media is a Google Partner?

Google Partner is a status Google awards agencies that meet requirements for team certification, managed ad spend and client account performance. It is independently verifiable — Azteca Media appears in the official Google Partners directory. It confirms the team holds current Google Ads certifications and that managed accounts meet Google's performance standards.

What areas does Azteca Media serve?

Clients in every US state. All of the work — SEO, Google Ads, web development, social media and brand identity — is delivered remotely, so location is not a constraint on any of it. The office is at 915 Highland Pointe Dr in Roseville, California, and the one service that does depend on being nearby is video production, which is shot on site across Placer and Sacramento counties: Roseville, Rocklin, Sacramento, Folsom, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Lincoln and Granite Bay.

Does Azteca Media work in Spanish?

Yes. The team works in both English and Spanish, and can run bilingual campaigns and produce Spanish-language content and creative for businesses serving Spanish-speaking customers.

Working together

How does an engagement start?

With a discovery call covering what the business does, who it serves, what has been tried and what success would look like in numbers. That is followed by a written proposal with a defined scope and a fixed price. No work begins before the scope is approved.

Are there long-term contracts?

Ongoing services such as SEO and paid search run month to month after an initial commitment period, which exists because those channels cannot demonstrate results in fewer than a few months. Project work such as websites, branding and video is quoted as a fixed scope with a fixed price and no ongoing obligation.

Who owns the accounts and the work?

The client does, in every case. Google Ads accounts, Google Analytics properties, domains, websites, design source files and video footage all belong to the client, and all of it stays with them if the relationship ends. Nothing is held back as leverage.

How is performance reported?

Monthly, against outcomes that connect to revenue — calls, form submissions, booked jobs and cost per lead — rather than impressions and follower counts. Reports state what changed, what it produced and what the next month's priority is.

What does digital marketing cost?

Ongoing programs typically run $1,500 to $5,000 per month depending on the channels involved and the competitiveness of the market, with paid media budget quoted separately from management. Websites generally fall between $4,000 and $15,000, and brand identity systems between $3,500 and $9,000. Every engagement is quoted at a fixed scope after a discovery call.

What if the work is not producing results?

Monthly reporting is designed to make that visible early rather than at the end of a year. If a channel is not producing, the recommendation is to change the approach or reallocate the budget — including recommending that a channel be stopped. Ongoing services can be cancelled after the initial commitment period.

Search, AI and visibility

How long does SEO take to produce results?

Three to six months for meaningful ranking movement, and nine to twelve for results that compound. Technical fixes sometimes show up within weeks. Any agency promising first-page rankings within thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches or using tactics that risk a penalty.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO optimizes for ranking positions in search results. GEO — generative engine optimization — optimizes for being cited inside AI-generated answers from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini. They overlap heavily in fundamentals: both reward clear structure, accurate structured data and factual clarity. They differ in format, because generative engines quote passages rather than rank pages, which rewards content that answers a question directly in its opening sentences.

How do I get my business mentioned by ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

Four things matter most. Publish complete, accurate structured data so the business can be resolved as a distinct entity. Answer real questions directly in the first two sentences of a section rather than building to a conclusion. Keep facts consistent across your site, your Google Business Profile and every directory that lists you. And allow AI crawlers such as GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot in your robots.txt — a site that blocks them cannot be cited by them.

Should I block AI crawlers from my website?

For most local businesses, no. Blocking them removes any chance of appearing in AI-generated recommendations, which is an increasingly common way people find local services. Publishers whose business model is selling access to their content have a genuine reason to block; a business that wants to be recommended does not.

Do paid ads improve organic rankings?

No. Google Ads spend has no direct effect on organic ranking position — they are separate systems. Paid search does help indirectly, by revealing within weeks which keywords actually convert, which is information that would otherwise take months of organic testing to learn. Many programs run paid first for exactly that reason.

Why does website speed matter for search?

Core Web Vitals are a confirmed Google ranking signal, but the larger effect is on conversion: a page that takes four seconds to load on mobile loses a substantial share of visitors before they see anything. Speed compounds with every other channel, because every campaign eventually sends someone to a page that either loads or does not.

Search Engine Optimization

How long does SEO take to work?

Expect three to six months before rankings move meaningfully, and nine to twelve months for compounding results. Technical fixes can show up faster — sometimes within weeks — but content and authority need time. Any agency promising page-one rankings in thirty days is either buying links or selling you terms nobody searches.

What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?

SEO covers how your website ranks in standard search results. Local SEO covers how your business ranks in the map pack and in location-qualified searches like "roofer near me". Local SEO depends heavily on your Google Business Profile, review volume and NAP consistency across the web — signals that live outside your website entirely. Most service businesses need both.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and neither should anyone else. Google does not sell or guarantee organic placement, so no agency can promise it. What we do commit to is a defined scope of work, monthly reporting against the searches that matter to your revenue, and the ability to cancel if the work is not producing.

Can you fix an SEO problem caused by a previous agency?

Usually, yes. The most common inherited problems are toxic backlink profiles, thin duplicated location pages, and site migrations that dropped redirects. We start by identifying which of these apply, because the remediation path is different for each and doing the wrong one wastes months.

How does SEO relate to being cited by AI tools like ChatGPT?

Language models are trained on and retrieve from the same public web that search engines index, so clean structure, clear factual statements and complete structured data help in both places. The difference is that generative engines quote passages rather than rank pages, so content that answers a question directly in the first two sentences gets cited far more often than content that builds to a point.

Web Design & Development

How long does a website take to build?

A focused marketing site of eight to fifteen pages typically takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. The variable is almost never development — it is how quickly content, photography and approvals come back. Projects where content is ready at kickoff finish at the fast end of that range.

Will a new website hurt my existing search rankings?

It can, if the migration is done carelessly. The two things that cause ranking loss are missing redirects from old URLs to new ones, and removing content that was ranking. We map every existing URL before launch and preserve or redirect all of them, then re-crawl after launch to confirm nothing 404s.

Can I update the website myself after launch?

Yes. We hand over a site you can edit without touching code for routine changes — text, images, new blog posts, new service pages. Structural changes and new page types are where you would come back to us, and we are explicit at handover about which is which.

What does a website cost?

Marketing sites generally land between $4,000 and $15,000 depending on page count, whether content and photography are needed, and how much custom design versus system reuse is involved. We quote a fixed scope after a discovery call rather than an hourly estimate, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Video Marketing & Production

How much does a marketing video cost?

A single-day shoot producing one primary edit plus platform cuts typically runs $2,500 to $6,000 depending on crew size, locations and animation requirements. Testimonial packages filming several customers in one day are the most cost-efficient format, because the setup cost is shared across every video produced.

How long should a marketing video be?

It depends entirely on placement. YouTube skippable ads should earn attention in the first five seconds and rarely exceed thirty. Social short-form works best between fifteen and forty-five seconds. Website testimonials and explainers can run ninety seconds to two minutes because the viewer arrived already interested. There is no single correct length — only a correct length for a placement.

Do we need a professional crew, or can we film on a phone?

Phone footage is genuinely fine for a lot of social content, and we will say so rather than upsell you. Professional production earns its cost when the video represents your brand at a considered moment — the homepage, a paid campaign, a sales presentation — or when lighting and audio conditions are difficult.

Who owns the footage?

You own the delivered edits and the raw footage. We hand over the source files at project close so you are never dependent on us to make a future change.

Social Media Marketing

How often should a business post on social media?

Three to five times per week on your primary platform, sustained, beats daily posting for two weeks followed by silence. Algorithms reward consistency, and audiences form habits around it. For most local businesses we recommend picking one or two platforms and doing them properly rather than maintaining a weak presence on five.

Does social media actually generate customers for local businesses?

For visual and consumer-facing businesses — restaurants, salons, home services, retail, automotive — yes, consistently. For B2B and highly technical services, social usually supports credibility rather than generating enquiries directly, and search deserves the larger share of budget. We will tell you which category you fall into before you commit.

Do you write the posts, or do we?

We do. You approve a month of planned content before it publishes, and you can request changes at that stage. Some clients prefer to supply photos from the field and have us handle everything else, which tends to produce the most authentic result.

What is the difference between organic and paid social?

Organic social is what you publish to your own followers at no media cost — it builds credibility slowly. Paid social puts budget behind content to reach people who do not follow you yet, targeted by location, interest and behaviour. The most efficient approach is to publish organically, identify what performs, then pay only to amplify the proven pieces.

Branding & Identity

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one mark. A brand identity is the full system that keeps everything looking like it came from the same company: logo variations, colour palette, typography, imagery style, layout rules and the guidelines that govern their use. Businesses that buy a logo alone usually end up with five slightly different versions in circulation within two years.

How long does a branding project take?

Six to ten weeks for a full identity system, including discovery, three creative directions, refinement and applied assets. The discovery and direction stages are where the time goes; production moves quickly once a direction is approved.

Do I own the final logo files?

Completely. You receive the full source files in every required format — vector, raster, print and screen — and full ownership of the work. Nothing is licensed back to you or held on our systems.

Should I rebrand or just refresh what I have?

Refresh when the identity is fundamentally sound but dated — usually a type and colour update with the mark preserved, which keeps existing recognition intact. Rebrand when the business has genuinely changed what it does or who it serves, or when the current identity actively misrepresents the quality of the work. We will tell you which one you need at the discovery stage, including when the answer is "neither yet".

Custom Systems & Integrations

Which payment gateways do you work with?

Stripe and PayPal most often, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and platform-native options such as Shopify Payments. Which one is right is usually settled by your fee structure, the countries and currencies you sell in, and whether you need recurring billing. We recommend on those grounds, not on which is quickest for us to wire up.

Do I own the code you write?

Entirely. The repository, hosting, gateway accounts and any third-party services are set up in your name and handed over at launch along with documentation. There is no licence fee to us afterwards and nothing preventing another developer from taking it over.

Is a custom system always the right answer?

No, and usually it is not. If an existing product covers what you need, it is cheaper to buy and cheaper to maintain than anything we would write, and that is the advice you will get. Custom work earns its cost when the gap between how you operate and what the software assumes is measurably costing you.

How is a custom project priced?

From the written specification, at a fixed price for that specification. Changes are quoted separately before they are built, so the number you approve is the number you pay. We do not run open-ended hourly projects, because those are where budgets go to drift.

Locations

Where is Azteca Media located?

Azteca Media LLC is at 915 Highland Pointe Dr, Roseville, CA 95678. The office is open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific, and you can reach the team at (415) 569-7484 or info@aztecamedia.com.

Do you work with businesses outside Roseville?

Yes. Roseville is our base, but we work throughout Placer and Sacramento counties — Rocklin, Sacramento, Folsom, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights and the surrounding communities — and remotely with clients further afield. On-site work such as video production is scheduled around location.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. Local clients regularly meet at our Roseville office or at their own premises for discovery, strategy sessions and quarterly reviews. For clients outside the immediate area we run the same sessions by video call, and travel for production days.

What does local SEO involve for a Roseville business?

It centres on your Google Business Profile — categories, services, hours, photos and review velocity — plus consistent name, address and phone details everywhere your business is listed, and pages on your own site that clearly establish which areas of Placer County you serve. For businesses competing along the Highland Pointe and Galleria corridors, review recency tends to be the deciding factor.

Do you have an office in Sacramento?

Our office is in Roseville, about twenty minutes northeast of downtown Sacramento, and we serve Sacramento clients from there. Meetings happen at your premises, at our office, or by video call, whichever suits the project.

How competitive is SEO in Sacramento?

Considerably more competitive than the surrounding Placer County suburbs. City-wide terms like "Sacramento dentist" are contested by established firms with years of accumulated authority. The realistic path for most businesses is to win neighbourhood-level and service-specific searches first, then expand outward as authority builds.

What should a Sacramento business budget for digital marketing?

For a small local business competing within a neighbourhood, $1,500 to $3,500 per month across SEO and paid search is a realistic starting range. Businesses competing city-wide in high-value categories such as legal or healthcare should expect materially more, driven mostly by paid click costs rather than by management fees.

Should we target Sacramento or our specific neighbourhood?

Start with the neighbourhood. Searches that include a neighbourhood carry higher intent, cost less in paid media, and are far more achievable organically. Once you rank reliably in your immediate area, expanding to city-wide terms is a much shorter step than attempting them from a standing start.
